DA Ecocorn silage additive for maize and wholecrop has Double Action technology to give the benefits of MTD/1 inoculant together with potassium sorbate preservative in one easy to use pack. Maize and wholecrop are high energy crops and it is important to preserve as much of the energy as possible.
– MTD/1 has been proven over a wide range of crops and ensiling conditions to improve fermentation and animal performance. It increases the speed and efficiency of fermentation, reducing losses and improving palatability.
– Potassium sorbate inhibits the growth of yeasts and moulds that cause aerobic spoilage, resulting in reduced DM losses and a more palatable, more nutritious silage with less risk of mycotoxins.
Please note the use of silage additives cannot be expected to overcome poor silage making practices, highly adverse weather conditions or unsatisfactory feeding-out procedures.
