Description

X-Zelit is a granular feed supplement which helps prevent milk fever and other related metabolic disorders by binding the calcium. X-Zelit reduces the quantity of available calcium from the cow’s feed in the small intestines. The cow then utilises her body’s calcium resources which reduces the risk of calcium levels dipping at calving, a period when demand increases. Not only will you reduce losses from milk fever and other metabolic disorders, it also drives intakes and therefore helps improve fertility and milk production.

Usage

  • Feed 500g/cow/day for the 14 day transition period
  • Do provide adequate mineral and vitamin supplementation, unless you’re feeding DC X-Zel Complete
  • Immediately withdraw the supplement post calving and move on to a lactating dairy mineral
