DC X-Zel Complete is a fully mineralised nut which combines X-Zelit, high quality protein and energy to meet the pre-calver requirements. DC X-Zel Complete nuts are designed to be fed during the 14 day transition period and will help prevent milk fever and other related metabolic disorders. Containing X-Zelit, calcium binder, this reduces the quantity of available calcium from the cow’s feed in the small intestines. The cow then utilises her body’s calcium resources which reduces the risk of calcium levels dipping at calving, a period when demand increases. Not only will you reduce losses from milk fever and other metabolic disorders, DC X-Zel Complete also drives intakes and therefore helps improve fertility and milk production.

Usage

  • Feed 3kg/cow/day for the full 14 day transition period
  • Also available in a non-mineralised nut, feed rate 2.5kg/cow/day
  • Immediately withdraw the supplement post calving and move on to a lactating dairy mineral

  • Product supplied in 25kg bags on a 1.125t pallet (minimum order 25 bags)
